Obituary for Mr. Gerald Peter Nevad Gerald P. Nevad, 79, of Eatontown, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 29th. Gerry was a 1958 graduate of Freehold Regional High School. He was an electrician with IBEW Local 458 for 35 years retiring in 1994.

He enjoyed metal detecting, trout fishing and building his own fishing poles. He was predeceased by his son Todd Nevad, parents Hans and Marion Nevad, sister Lillian Greco, and brother Thomas Nevad. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Pete and Jill Nevad, daughter-in-law Pinky Houston, grandsons Matthew and Joshua Nevad, and his sister Linda Gottiaux.

Visitation will take place from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, January 4th at Ely Funeral Home, 3316 Route 33, Neptune. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to SEARCH Day Program, Inc., 73 Wickapecko Drive, Ocean, NJ 07712.
