Obituary for Gertrude Marie Maxwell MAXWELL (Stibbins), Gertrude Marie, 94, passed away peacefully Friday, November 9, 2018 at her home. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Gertrude was preceded in death by her husband, John Maxwell Jr.; grandson, Jessie Maxwell and great-granddaughter, Caitlin Van Huynh.

She is survived by her loving children, Dennis Maxwell (Joyce), Diane Seaman (Bill), Maryann Amos, David Maxwell (Angie), John Maxwell III, Suzie Newberry (Glenn), Joan Maxwell, James Maxwell and Robert Maxwell; 25 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. Her celebration of life Mass will be held Monday 10 a.m. at St. Thomas More, 6105 So. 3rd St. with burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens-West.
