Gertrude Michelle “Mickey” Naylor, died at the age of 70 in St. Paul, Minnesota on Monday, May 21, 2018 surrounded by loved ones. Micky was born on February 5, 1948 in Greenville, Mississippi to Almay Williams and Sam Stewart. She was delivered in her parents’ home by midwives.

At the age of 18 years old, she married Richard Naylor and later had 4 children: Angela, Richard, Jerome, and Tyrone. Mickey worked as a bartender for many years, but retired as an Illinois sergeant police officer. Mickey enjoyed being around her family, collecting Mickey Mouse artifacts, and hanging out with her 5th child, Togo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved son, Tyrone, and her grandson, Martell. She is survived by her three children, Angela, Richard, and Jerome; 19 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; two sisters and a host of many more loved ones. Memorial Service 2:00-4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2nd at Billman~Hunt Funeral Chapel.
