Gilvern is survived by his wife, Elaine (Whittenberg) Keester of Manderson, SD; children, Debbie-Kay Ferguson, Roger Keester, Travis Keester and Gilvern Ferguson, all of Kyle, SD; siblings, Arlene Crawford of Rapid City, SD, Madine (Rick)Josefcyk of Manderson, SD and Kevin Keester of Hermosa, SD; and 2 grandchildren.

Gilvern was preceded in death by his parents, Gilbert and Rosella Keester; children, 2 twin angels; uncles, Art and Henry Keester; aunts, Katie Sollid and Bernice Maggard; and both maternal and paternal grandparents.
