Obituary for Patricia Brings Plenty (Sounding Sides) Patricia Mae Sounding Sides-Brings Plenty was born on January 13, 1948 at her home in Oglala, SD to Phillip Sounding Sides, Sr. and Geraldine Dreamer. Patricia made her journey to the Spirit World on June 4, 2018 at the Sanford Health Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Patricia was a very kind and generous woman, who helped raise a lot of her relatives and foster children.

Patricia was a high school teacher at the Red Cloud Indian School for 30+ years. She loved working with the kids. They were like family to her.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Patricia is survived by her children, Michael Brings Plenty of Michigan and Hope Brings Plenty of Oglala, SD; siblings, Joyce (Dreamer) Marcy of Michigan, Santos “Tiny” Sounding Sides of the Philippine Islands, Duane “Punkie” Chalmers of Lake Andes, SD, Linda Chalmers of Texas and Lorrie Chalmers-Price of Rapid City, SD; grandchildren, Daniel Two Bulls, Jr., Jeremiah Two Bulls and Mark Two Bulls, all of Oglala, SD and Mike Brings Plenty of Pine Ridge, SD; great-grandchildren, Jeremy Jaycob Akers-Brings Plenty, Trenton Two Bulls, Jeremiah Two Bulls, Jr. and a great-grandchild on the way, Stephanie Patricia Grace Two Bulls; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, Phillip Sounding Sides, Sr. and Geraldine Dreamer; siblings, Phillip Sounding Sides, Jr., Benjamin Sounding Sides and Eddie Sounding Sides; children, David Brings Plenty, Jr. and Stephanie Brings Plenty-Two Bulls; and grandmother, Susie Little Killer.
