Girlene’s Obituary Girlene M. “Gerri” Manini, 79, of Moore Township, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest following a short illness. She was the loving wife of Roger Manini Sr.; they were married at Eglin Air Force Base on March 24, 1958. Born December 16, 1939 in Bangor, PA, she was a daughter of the late Willis and Ruth Pysher Woolley.

Gerri worked as a seamstress for Tatamy Sportswear for 25 years, and subsequently Mack Printing for 12 years. In retirement she worked part time at the Kiffle Kitchen. Gerri enjoyed crafts, baking, trips to the casino and a good bingo game.

She was a Penn State Football season ticket holder for 40 years, and enjoyed spending football weekends tailgating with family and friends. Along with her husband Roger, Gerri is survived by her children; Selina Stafford and her husband Randy of Pen Argyl, Roger Manini Jr. and his wife Lynn of Jasper, GA, and Janine Lauer and her husband Ed of Lopatcong, NJ; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson, as well as her sister Karen Branham of Parkersburg, WV. Gerri was predeceased by 1 sister Pat Davidson; 2 brothers Orland Woolley and Carl Woolley; and 1 great grandson Liam Rogers.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, February 10, from 6-8 pm and Monday, February 11, from 10-11 am in the Schmidt Funeral Home PC, 407 Belvidere St. Nazareth. A prayer service will follow at 11 am in the funeral home. Gerri will be laid to rest in Plainfield Cemetery.

Memorials in Gerri’s memory may be offered to the Moore Township Lions Club in care of Michael Rinker, 2626 Community Drive, Bath, PA 18014.
