Life Reflections Gladys Mae Sewell Manning (Dennie) was born September 27, 1940 in North, Carolina to Mr. Alfred Sewell and Ms. Gladys Ruffin Sewell. Gladys was educated in Wake County Raleigh North Carolina Independent School District.

Gladys worked at Enid State School until she retired in May 1998. Gladys went to be with the Lord on February 13, 2019 surrounded by loved ones. Gladys is proceeded in death by her father, Alfred Sewell, mother Gladys Ruffin Sewell; sisters Barbara Jean Barba and Julia Mae Owens.

Gladys leaves to cherish her precious memories: two sons, Darrell Leon Seawell (Evelyn), John Manning Jr. (Tonya); seven grandchildren; Tammy Ray, Roger Ray Sr., Steve McKinnon, April Elliott, Annette Atkins (Dwayne), Mannette Morgan, Joshua W. Manning; great grandchildren, Micheal Sr, Terrance, Roger Jr., Rogerick, Cory, Devante, Shaniqua (Justin), Dominque, Chase, Jasmine, Steve Jr., Stefan; great great-grandchildren; Mariah, Isaiah, Bryson, Micheal Jr.; sister, Sheryl Sallie Northe; brother, Willie Lewis Ruffin; three first cousins, Dorothy Parham, Marie Harris and Evelyn King; a special friend, Lora Hunter; a host of nieces and nephews and many other loving family members and friends.
