The family then moved to another farmstead west of Randall, MN, where Irene lived until she was united in marriage to Dennis Prozinski, her husband of nearly 67 years, on October 15th, 1952.

They were married in St. James Catholic Church in Randall, only at that time it was located on ‘the hill’ prior to moving to its current location. In the summer of 1962, after spending much time constructing their new home on Green Prairie Fish Lake, they moved to their present home, where Irene resided the rest of her life.

Irene spent most of her adult life as a caregiver for her son Timothy who suffers from cerebral palsy, a birth condition. She was also the accountant/bookkeeper for the family backhoe/construction business that Dennis started in 1965 and operated until his retirement when he was in his 70’s. Irene was also an avid walleye fisherman, spending many summers in Canada trying to out-fish her husband Dennis with much success.

She also was a flower and vegetable gardener; with roses a specialty and many canned produce as proof of her two large gardens, one in black dirt, the other sand. Irene was a life-long member of St. James Catholic Church and Christian Mothers. Irene is survived by her husband Dennis; sons Alan (Susan) of Little Falls; Timothy of Little Falls; and Stephen (Denise) of Cold Spring, MN; five grandchildren; Julie, Tracy, Nicholas, Rachael and Matthew as well as four great-grandchildren.
