Glenda Gooch, age 77 of Browning, Missouri, passed away on May 22, 2018, at Wright Memorial Hospital, Trenton, Missouri. Glenda Carol Lambert was born August 21, 1940, daughter of Charles and Bernice (Moore) Lambert at home east of Browning. In 1959, she married Gary Lee Gooch and 2 children, Terri Lea and David Andrew, were born to that union.

They later divorced. Glenda worked for Hudson Foods in Kansas City for many years before she moved to Browning to be close to her family. She loved to work in the garden, do yard work, and tend to her flowers and she had a great love for her pets.

Glenda taught herself to do macramé, crochet, sew and make beautiful quilts but most of all; she loved spending time with her 2 children, 5 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren along with other family. Survivors include daughter Terri and husband Rick Bennett, of Browning, Missouri, and her son, David Gooch, also of Browning. Grandchildren, Tiffany and Abe Carver of Humphries, Stephanie and Josh Muck of Meadville, Whitney and Nick Gardner of Browning, and Travis Bennett of Browning.

Great Grandchildren, Weston and Leah Carver, Ella Muck, Bennett and Hattie Gardner. Sister, Arlene Tornow of Browning and Sister-in-Law, Glenda Lambert of Pensacola, Florida, 3 nephews, Mike and Jimmy Tornow, and Greg Lambert; 3 nieces, Shari Oehrle, Janet Roush and June Woodside and an aunt Wanda Lamkie of O’Fallon, Missouri, and other relatives. Glenda was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Chasity Marie Bennett in 1987, one brother, Dale (JD) Lambert in 2001; and her father in 2002 and mother in 2009 Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 26, 2018, at the United Methodist Church in Browning, Missouri.

Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to service starting at 10:00 A.M. Burial will follow at the Parklawn Cemetery in Brookfield, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Morris Chapel Cemetery.
