Anna Laverne (Meeks) Lintner Anna Laverne (Meeks) Lintner, born May 30, 1918 to Ed and Eula Meeks, died April 18, 2018 at the age of 99. She married Frank Wellington Preston on December 9, 1935, he preceded her in death on May 3, 1972. She later married Bernie Lintner, he preceded her in death in 1985.

Survivors include: One daughter, Dorothy June May and husband Bill of Milan; one son, Carroll Dean Preston and wife Judy of Milan; a grandson, Russell Dean Preston; one great grandson, Jackson Bryce May and wife Jaqueline; two great great granddaughters, Shelby May and Alexis May; one sister, Pearl Griffin; several nieces and nephews; and a great many other relatives and friends who will sadly miss her. She was preceded in death by: her parents; husbands, Frank and Bernie; a grandson, Lance May; and a sister, Edith Kizzire-Cassidy. Laverne worked at Banquet Foods many years, retiring to marry Bernie in 1975.

She loved to trout fish. An inurnment will be 10:30 AM, Sunday, May 6, 2018 at the Henry Cemetery, South of Reger, Missouri.
