Mark Edward Hatcher Mark Edward Hatcher, 43 years old, of Milan, Missouri, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at his home. Mark was born March 1, 1975 in Kirksville, Missouri. On October 5, 1997, he married Joy (Young) Hatcher, she survives him.

Also surviving: two sons, Tyler Hatcher of Hannibal, Missouri, and Koby Hatcher of St. Louis, Missouri; his Mother, Vivian Hatcher-Sinclair of Milan; his Father, Marion “Bubby” Hatcher and wife Diana of Green City, Missouri; a Brother, Matt Hatcher of Kansas City, Missouri; a Sister, Marta Hatcher-Sinclair of Milan; Maternal Grandfather, Vincent Bauer of Newton, Iowa; Mother-in-law, Lois Pfeiffer and husband Steve of Browning; Father-in-law, Paul Young of Trenton, Missouri; a sister-in-law, Ginger Parsons of Browning; a brother-in-law, Landon Young of Browning; five nieces and nephews, Brett Sinclair, Brittany Sinclair, Brianna Sinclair, Bryce Sinclair, and Shelby Parsons; and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. He was preceded in death by: Paternal grandparents, Charles and Eunice Hatcher and Maternal Grandmother, Donna Bauer. Mark was a lifelong resident of Milan.

He graduated from Milan C-II High School and was a member of the 1993 State Football Championship team. He has worked at Smithfield Foods for the past 19 years, currently as a cooler technician. Mark was a past Elks Lodge member.

He was also a member and board member of the Sullivan County Country Club. He liked playing golf, hunting, going kayaking, and riding his Razor. Mark was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and held season tickets.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. Funeral services for Mark will be held at 1:30 PM, Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Schoene-Ruschmeier Funeral Home in Milan. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Milan.

A visitation is scheduled for 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Saturday evening, at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the family.
