Glenna Thomas Leatherow Glenna Thomas Leatherow was born on December 17, 1946 in Ogden, Utah to Glenn and Norma Beard Thomas. She passed away peacefully on April 20, 2018 at the Heritage Care Center in American Fork, Utah. Glenna enjoyed a happy childhood, attended Quincy Elementary School, Mount Ogden Jr. High, and graduated from Ogden High School in 1965.

She married Lamar Leatherow in May of 1969. Glenna and Lamar lived happily in Ogden, raising their 7 children, until Lamar’s untimely death in 1989. Due to declining health, she spent several years at the Mountain Ridge Assisted Living Center in Ogden and at the Heritage Care Center in American Fork, where she made many friends.

She was well-loved by both residents and staff. She was a bright spot in the lives of her family, and we’re grateful for the time we were able to spend with her. She is survived by her children Dale and Eileen Leatherow, Tom and Shar Leatherow, Jerred Leatherow, Tesserin and Blake Watkins, Josh and Jennifer Leatherow, and Amandi Leatherow, twelve grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren, her siblings, Nadine (John) Matis, Marjean (Ron, deceased) Bingham, Karen (Duane) Lesueur, David (Kathi) Thomas, and Douglas (Barbara) Thomas, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by her son Shon Leatherow, and her parents, and caring brother-in-law Ron Bingham. Special Thanks to the Heritage Care Center in American Fork and Bristol Hospice for contributing loving care over several years. Funeral services will be held at Myers Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd, Ogden UT, on Saturday, April 28 at 11:00 am.

A visitation will be held prior to the services from 10:00-10:45. Interment will take place at the Coalville City Cemetery following the service.
