OBITUARY Gloria B. Jasso March 22, 1949 – February 2, 2019 Gloria B. Jasso, 69, of Corpus Christi, TX, passed away February 2, 2019. She was born in Corpus Christi, TX on March 22, 1949. Gloria graduated from West Oso High School and received an Associates of Science in Nursing from Del Mar College.

Gloria was married to Jesus “Jesse” Jasso on January 24, 2004. She had a career as a Registered Nurse for Christus Health Services. Gloria had a passion for neonatal nursing.

She was a selfless, giving person that focused on taking care of everybody before herself. Seeing everyone happy and healthy made her happy. She loved puzzles, watching her western/reality TV and talking on the phone making people laugh.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rene P. Benavidez Sr. and Maria Benavidez; siblings, Anita Benavidez, Rene Benavidez Jr., Elva B. Zavala, Marguerite B. Smith-Perez, Robert Benavidez, Rudolfo Castro, Lodubico Castro Jr. and Eulogio Castro. Gloria is survived by her husband, Jesse Jasso; daughter, Melissa A. Borrego; grandchild, Robert Ryan Borrego; siblings, Marilynn B. Verduzco, Larry (Susan) Benavidez, Beatrice B. Trevino and Tencha (Bob) Keiser. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Holy Rosary to begin at 7:00 pm that same evening.

A Chapel Service will be held on Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Memory Gardens Funeral Home at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow at Memory Gardens Mausoleum.
