Gloria Fay Criswell June 11, 1927 – January 03, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Gloria Fay Criswell, of San Antonio, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at the age of 91 years. She was born June 11, 1927 in San Antonio to Glen H. and Margarite (Johnson) Pedigo. Fay married Norman H. Criswell Sr. on June 11, 1946, whom preceded her in death on September 14, 2002 after 56 years of marriage.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling and gardening. Fay worked for Sears, Roebuck & Company, retiring after many years of service. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Nell Ruth Marshall and grandson, Glen H. Criswell.

Fay is survived by her four sons and their spouses, Norman Jr. and Shirley of San Antonio, Danny and Terri of Harper, Matthew and Deborah of Houston, and Michael Criswell of San Antonio; six grandchildren, Judy Kay, Kyle, Kelly, Danielle, Devon, and Justin; ten great grandchildren, Sara, Nancy, Stephen, Shelby, Rylee, Cole, Deacon, Dottie, Miles, and Kaitlyn; two great-great grandchildren, Leon and Ezekiel. Visitation will be held at Southeast Baptist Church at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 8th, with funeral services to be held at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mission Burial Park South. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Fay’s memory may be made to Southeast Baptist Church.
