MARY ALICE BOLADO September 04, 1958 – December 17, 2018 Share this obituary Send Flowers Upload Photo| View/Sign Guest Book| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Mary Alicia Bolado, born September 4, 1958 to parents Antonio Castillo and Felician Saldana, known to most as MS Mary, went to be with our Lord December 17, 2018 at the age of 60. Mary Alice worked at the Skylark Bowling Center on LAFB for many years. She was a very kind and loving person, anyone who met her could feel her warmth, and willingness to be of service to whoever needed help.

She loved making new memories with her family members. Her children, and grandchildren were her true joy…she loved them all so very much. Mary Alice also had many close friends who she also cared for.

She loved to travel with family and friends. Ever since coming to know the Lord, she was a dedicated servant at her church, Pearsall Road Baptist Church. She worked for years with the children’s ministry, also visited the sick and elderly, and was a witness for the Lord wherever she went.

Mary Alice as a child of Christ, was a prime example to many of her friends and family members. She also loved listening to different kinds of music. Mary Alice’s loving memory will always be carried in our hearts, and she will always be remembered.

Her faith and life should serve as an example to those who loved her, as she made an impact on many lives. Mary Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Raul Bolado; father, Antonio G. Castillo; and mother, Feliciana S. Castillo. She is survived by her daughter Valerie Carrillo (Abel); sons, Manuel Levon Rendon (Claudia) and Michael Eli Rendon; 8 grandchildren; brothers Antonio Castillo Jr. and Gilbert Castillo; sisters, Mary Helen Castillo, Cynthia Caballero (Raul) and Irene Lopez (Danny); and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are as follows: January 2, 2018: Visitation 6-9pm at Texas Funeral Home Chapel, 2702 Castroville Rd. , San Antonio, Texas 78237 with prayer service at 7pm. January 3, 2018: Visitation 8-10:30am at Texas Funeral Home Chapel – Departure: at 10:45am to Ft.

Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd. , San Antonio, Texas 78209 for a 11:30am Graveside Service.
