Obituary for Grace Elberta Melvin (McInturff) Print A celebration of life for Grace “Bertie” Melvin will be at 2:00pm, Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at Ladusau-Evans Chapel. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00pm, Monday, February 4, 2019 at Ladusau-Evans Funeral home.

Grace “Bertie” Elberta (McInturff) Melvin was born on September 21, 1919 in Enid, OK to Cylde and Florence McInturff and passed away on January 30, 2019. She attended Enid Public Schools. On June 20, 1937 she married Kelso Melvin and together they had four sons.

Grace was a house wife and enjoyed gardening, crafting, and bingo. She is survived by her four sons, Larry Melvin, Garry Melvin and wife Marie, Monty Melvin and wife Dana, Kelly Melvin; her six grandchildren, Jackie, Becky, Cory, Tamara, Ira, Ashley; eight great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Kelso Melvin, her parents; Cylde and Florence McInturff; three sisters; one brother.
