Gregory Allen Shepard, 64, of Dalton passed away at his home on Monday, May 7, 2018 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born July 10, 1953 in Groton, MA to Lorraine (Beaulieu) Shepard. He married the love of his life, Susan LaCroix in 1971.

They moved to NH in 1986 to raise their family. Gregory did construction work for a short while after moving to NH, but quickly found steady work at the paper mill in Gilman, VT, where he stayed for many years until Simpson Paper closed. Gregory is survived by his wife of 47 years Susan Shepard, two children Vicki and her husband Brandon, Jeff and his wife Tracy, eight grandchildren, Trevor, Tashara, Dylan, Jeffrey Jr, Dakota, Maria, Michael and his wife Amy, and Kayla and her husband Zac, 2 great-grandchildren Brayden and David, six sisters, and several, nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his mother Lorraine Beaulieu, his son Gregory Shepard, Jr., and two grandsons Jesse and Zachary. Visiting hours will be at Ross Funeral Home, Littleton Chapel, 282 West Main St. Littleton, NH on Friday May 11, 2018 from 2-3:30, concluded by a Celebration of Life at 3:30. Interment will take place at Cushman Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
