Obituary for Gregory Eugene Lyons Mr. Gregory Eugene Lyons, 60, formerly of Smith Ave. , passed away Monday, April 9, 2018 at Randolph Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born August 13, 1957 in Davidson County to John Franklin Lyons, Sr. and Effie Elizabeth Daye Lyons.

He was a member of Ezekiel AME Zion Church and served on the usher board and the choir. He was a fan of the Cowboys, Atlanta Braves and NC State and loved watching the Price is Right. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, William Billy Daye.

He leaves to cherish his memory his two brothers, Gary D. Lyons and John F. Lyons, Jr.; devoted caregiver and cousin, Earle L. Smith; two nieces, Shanice Lyons and Calisha Anne Fitzgerald and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be Friday at 2:00pm at Ezekiel AME Zion Church with family visitation at 1:30.
