Guadalupe M. Calderon, 88, a lifetime resident of Mercedes Texas was born January 17, 1931 to Pablo and Tanislada Hernandez in Mercedes Texas. She is survived by her loving family: Sisters: Teresa (Jose)Hernandez of Mercedes Texas, Sabina Martinez of Houston Texas, Brothers: Francisco Martinez of Houston Texas, Julian Martinez, Niece: Adriana (Armando)Hernandez of Mercedes Texas and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her loving husband; Hiram Calderon.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 11:00a.m. to 9:00p.m. with a rosary to recited at 7:00p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 21, 2019. We will depart Rudy Garza Chapel of Peace at 9:30a.m. for a 10:00a.m. mass at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church with interment to follow at Our Lady of Mercy Cemetery in Mercedes Texas. Guadalupe was a loving daughter, sister, wife, daughter, aunt and a dear friend to many.
