Obituary for Guillermo Villarreal Campos Guillermo V. Campos, age 79, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2018, surrounded by his family in his daughter’s home. He was born on April 30, 1939, to Jose and Maria Campos. He grew up in the Rio Hondo, Texas area.

He was a career Army soldier, giving 28 years of faithful service to his country and serving numerous times overseas. He was blessed with two sons, a daughter, and many grandchildren. He was an involved father and grandpa who could always be counted on for advice and to put the needs of others before himself.

He taught strength, loyalty, and honesty through his words and actions. The lives of his children and grandchildren will continue to be a testament to his life well-lived. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Terrance Campos; and sister.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Jesusa Campos; his children, William Campos (wife Christina) and Tina Davila (husband Art); his grandchildren, Kiersten, Dallas, Evan, William, Cheyenne, Raven, Araceli, Juniper, and Daisy; and numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, step-children and step-grandchildren.
