Guy was born on September 25, 1951 in Ironwood to William James Tilton and Rosemary (Wiita) Tilton. He was a 1969 graduate of J.E. Murphy High School.

He served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. He was a lifelong Construction Worker. He enjoyed time with his family and was especially proud of his grandson, Kaden.

He also liked hunting, fishing and working in his garden. He will be sadly missed by his son, Guy R. Tilton, Jr. of Hurley; grandson, Kaden Tilton; Carlene’s son, Jimmy Thornsberry; siblings, Terri (Richard) Jerow of Saxon, William (Pam) Tilton; nieces and nephews, Tracy, David, Justin, Billy, Jeremy; dear friends, Bob D’Antonio, Dave Stella and Steve Chatterson and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his “Tweetie,” Carlene Dull.

There will be a celebration of life for Guy this coming summer. McKevitt-Patrick Funeral Home of Ironwood is assisting the family with arrangements. For more information and to express condolences, please visit www.
