Obituary for Gwendolyn Cragon Gwendolyn Cragon (Mrs. Blythe Bond Cragon) 90, passed away June 6, 2018 at St. Catherine’s Village in Madison. She is survived by her husband of 69 years Blythe Bond Cragon. Gwendolyn was born September 14.

1927. Gwen was a homemaker and is survived by her husband Blythe B. Cragon, daughter Lynn Frazier, son B.B. Cragon, Jr. and daughter-in-law Nadine, and by son Bob Cragon and daughter-in-law Jan. Gwen was loved also by six grandchildren.

She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Gwendolyn was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church and LeDejeuner Luncheon Club. She was President of Phi Mu Sorority before graduating from LSU.

Gwen was a lifelong member of the DAR. Visitation will be at the Robert Lowry Covington Chapel at First Baptist Church in Hazlehurst, MS from 1PM-2:30PM on Monday, June 11, 2018. A private family burial service will be held afterwards at Hazlehurst Cemetery.

The family of Gwen Cragon would like to thank the staff and nurses at St. Catherine’s Village (Siena) for their compassionate care, and would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Nafeesa Edges, Rosie Smith, and Vickie Boyd for helping ensure her comfort and peace in these last months of her life.
