Gypsy Lynn Lavergne May 12, 1975 – February 01, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook CARENCRO ~ Memorial services will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel in Carencro for Gypsy Lynn Lavergne, age 43, the former Gypsy Lynn Delahoussaye, who passed away Friday, February 1, 2019 at her residence in Arnaudville. Pastor David Baudoin will officiate at the services. Gypsy was a native of Carencro and a resident of Arnaudville.

She enjoyed remodeling, painting and eating. Survivors include her mother, Josie Hall, of Carencro; her husband, Cory Lavergne of Arnaudville; one son, Robert Joseph Smith, Jr. of Arnaudville; one daughter, Kamie Smith and her fiancé, Cody Stelly, of Sunset; one step-daughter, Erin Sarver and her husband, Mathew, of Carencro; one grandchild, Fallen Sarver; and two brothers, Joseph Ewell Delahoussaye of Lafayette and Gordon Keith Delahoussaye of Henderson. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Ewell Delahoussaye of New Iberia.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. until service time on Wednesday and will continue after the service until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Melancon Funeral Home, Evangeline Memorial Gardens Chapel, 4117 N. University Ave. , Carencro, (337) 896-3232, is in charge of arrangements.
