Harold Dean Kirk January 17, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Harold Dean Kirk, 79, passed away suddenly on January 17, 2019 surrounded by loved ones in the comfort of his own home. He was born February 3, 1939 in West Virginia with his brothers and sisters, Benny, Randy, Darrell, Blanche, Judy, Rose, Frankie and Kay. Shortly after joining the military at the age of 17 he met the love of his life Anneliese.

They started a beautiful family with kids Harold, Patricia, Carol, Mary, Ronald, Pamela, Christopher, Micheal, along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He retired from the U. S. Army and later retired as a truck driver. His hobbies included hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

He was also a dedicated member of Coastal Community Church. He was always willing to help anyone who needed help and would give the shirt off his back. He is preceded in death by his parents Everette and Mary, his sister Rose and a son Ronald.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:00 PM, Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at W. J. Smith & Son Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 9:00 AM, Thursday, January 24, 2019 at Coastal Community Church with burial following at noon in Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery, Suffolk.
