Harold E. Kinney, 89 of Danville, IL. Passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 at his home. Harold was born July 22, 1929 to Oscar and Mildred Owens Kinney.

Harold married June Lenore Estes on December 6, 1952. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, two sons; Luke and Chris, three sisters; Violet Marie, Daisy Woodard and Sharon Makemson, three brothers; Johnny, Freddie, Gerald and Larry. He is survived by a daughter; Katrina (Keenan) Jones.

Grandchildren; Lenora, Brandon and Ryan Lankster, Amber Kinney, Corissa (Josh) Miller, Amanda (Josh) Whitney and Jenna Jones, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild. He is also survived by two sisters; Rose (Robert) Carter and Mary Lappin, four special nieces and nephews; Gene and Bob Woodard, Kathy Turner, Myrna Creason and many other nieces and nephews. Harold joined the army in 1953 and spent two years in Korea serving for the United States.

Harold owned and operated Kinney’s Sewer Service and Kinney’s Midwestern Jubilee in Georgetown. A special thanks to neighbor Ronnie Ritter, grandson Ryan Lankster and Keenan Jones helping assist as caregivers and the surrounding Hooton Community for their friendship and assistance in caring for Harold. A visitation for Harold will be held Thursday, November 15 from 6-8 pm at the Southside Nazarene Church with a funeral service Friday November 16 at 11 am.
