Harold Eugene Smith, 73, of 1862 Lantern Dr., Asheboro, died Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem. Graveside Services, 3 PM, Friday, September 21, 2018, at Patterson Grove Christian Church, Ramseur. Harold was a native of Randolph County, retired from Kennametal Metals, and a member of Patterson Grove Christian Church.

He was an avid golfer and he loved his grandchildren. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Alma Snow Smith, sister, Carolyn Allred. Survivors: wife, Judy Albright Smith, daughters, Melissa Williams, and husband, Johnny, Rena Cockerham, and husband Mike, both of Ramseur, son, Kelly Smith, and wife Vickie, of Asheboro, sisters, Joan Shehan, of Ramseur, Linda Hooker, and companion, Gary Happel, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Kyle Williams, Olivia Smith, Lauren Cockerham.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Thursday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence. Condolences may be made online at www. loflinfuneralservice.com.
