Shirley Thompson Weiss, 70, of 4506 Kidds Mill Rd, Franklinville, NC, died Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Novant Health Thomasville Medical Center in Thomasville. Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Thursday, October 4, 2018, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur. Officiating, Rev.

Terri Whitaker. Burial, Patterson Grove Christian Church, Ramseur. Shirley was a native of Randolph County and retired as a knitter from Ramseur Interlock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Bernice Beale Thompson, husband, Reiner Karl Weiss, sisters, Nancy McIntosh and Sarah Thompson, brothers, Winfred “Bo” Thompson, and Garrette Lee Thompson. Survivors: sons, Frankie Lee York, of Liberty, Everette W. “Bub” York, of Franklinville, sister, Phyllis Williams and husband Jim, of Franklinville, brother, Everette Ray Thompson, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Kyle Jordan, Hannah Pullum and Krystal Ledford, Michelle Sechrist, great-grandchildren, Layla Ledford, Olivia Jordan, Dakota Troutman, and Liam Jordan, Amuri Kennedy. Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
