Obituary for Harold Gene Cole, Sr. Harrington – Harold Gene Cole, Sr., passed away on April 19, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Cole was born to Sallie E. and Clayton David Cole on September 11, 1927 in Goldsboro, Maryland. Mr. Cole was a fun loving man that enjoyed dogs, Harness racing, football, baseball, Big Band music and his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Harold Gene Cole, Jr. of Clayton, David R. Cole of Harrington and one daughter, Cindy Knotts of Dover, along with 8 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and his loving friend and companion Janny Smith. Services will be held at Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home in Greensboro, Maryland on Friday, April 27, 2018 at 7:00 PM with a visitation one hour prior.
