Obituary for Harold H. Cody Harold H. “Stub” Cody a lifelong Grand Ledge resident passed away July 13, 2018. Stub was born December 24, 1922 in Wacousta to the late Edward and Lucy (McGarry) Cody. He graduated from Grand Ledge High School Class of 1941.

Stub went on to proudly serve in the United States Army during WW II. After returning from the war he delivered for Eaton Oil Co. and ultimately retired from Lansing Ice & Fuel. He always looked forward to spending time with his family and attended many sporting events for his grandkids.

He is survived by children, Carol Ann (Terry) Endres, Linda Irish, Jo (Casey) Godlewski and Harold “Mickey’ (Denise) Cody; 10 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ella Renney and brother-in-law, Ernest Nostrant. Stub was preceded in death by his loving wife, Donna Jean in 1992. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 18, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Holihan-Atkin-Barclay Funeral Home, Grand Ledge with Deacon J. Andre’ Tardif of St. Michael Catholic Church, officiating.

Interment with military honors will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Stub’s name may be given to the Memorial Honor Guard Cole-Briggs Post #48, 731 N.
