Harold Milo Hicks, 82, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2018. He was born October 16, 1935 in Wake County to the late Jesse Robert Hicks and Laura Lloyd Hicks. Harold retired after 35 years of service as a Lineman for Southern Bell/AT&T.

Funeral service 2:00 pm, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at L. Harold Poole Funeral Service Chapel, 944 Old Knight Rd. , Knightdale, 27545. Burial will follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive relatives and friends prior to the service from 12:00 to 1:45 pm at the funeral home and other times at the home. Surviving: wife, Edna Earle Bailey Hicks; daughters: Cindy Hicks Bunn (Greg) of Raleigh, Wanda Hicks Miller of Boone; grandchildren: Michael Mears, Heather Bunn, Joshua Bunn, and Sarah Miller. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by daughter, Deborah Hicks Mears; brother, Jesse R. Hicks, Jr.; sister, Shelby Ann Hicks; and step-mother, Lila Hicks.

Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 8400 Poole Rd, Knightdale, NC 27545. The family would like to thank the staff of Zebulon Rehab for the special love and care shown to Harold during his illness.
