Obituary for Harold P. “Butch” Jenkins Harold P. “Butch” Jenkins, 75, of Lewistown, passed away on Saturday January 5, 2019 at his home. Born March 31, 1943, in Lewistown, he was the son of the late Harold P. Jenkins, Sr. and Ora L. (Jenkins) Bubb. Butch will be remembered and missed by his loving wife, Carol (Scyoc) Jenkins, whom he married on June 19, 1961, Children, Harold P. Jenkins, III and wife Stella “Kookie”, of Delaware, and Lora Lee Brinton and husband Frankie of Lewistown, siblings, Nancy Parsons and husband Roger of Mifflintown, and Gary Jenkins and companion Bonnie Wilson of Lewistown, Grandchildren, Amanda Guthrie, Rebecca Jenkins, Ashley Brinton and husband Brock Gramley, and Michael Brinton, and Great-Grandchildren, Cheyenne Guthrie, Jack Guthrie, Mackenzie Jenkins, Khalie Snead and Nolan Gramley.
Butch spent his entire working career at the Standard Steel, retiring as a supervisor in machine shop 1. He was a member of The Lewistown Moose Lodge No. 143, he loved woodworking, and spending time at the beach flounder fishing in Indian River Bay with his family.
A viewing will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday January 9, 2019 at The Barr Funeral Home Inc. and Crematory, 120 Logan Street, Lewistown.
