Obituary of Harry “Hack” Swoyer, Jr. Harry “Hack” W. Swoyer, Jr., 75, of Lake Ariel, PA passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Sanatoga Center. He was the husband of Connie A. (Starr) Swoyer with whom he shared 51 years of marriage. Born in Peckville, PA on June 27, 1942, Harry was the son of the late Harry W. Swoyer, Sr., and Phyllis E. (Jordan) Swoyer.

Hack was a retired member of IBEW local 1319. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed sharing his passion for fishing with his grandchildren. He is survived by three children, Todd W. Swoyer, Pittsburgh, PA; Darryl J. Swoyer, husband of Sherry, Moscow, PA; and Donna Grillo, wife of Greg, Limerick, PA; one daughter-in-law, Christina Sheehan, Thornhurst, PA; three sisters, Dorothy Peet, Montrose, PA; Nancy Edwards, Hamlin, PA; and Phyllis Gutknecht, Lake Ariel, PA; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by one sister, Joan M. Jones. Friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Saturday, May 12, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Hamlin Fire Company and Banquet Hall, 582 Hamlin Hwy. , Lake Ariel, PA 18436.

Inurnment will be private and held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Harry’s memory to Cortez United Methodist Church, 967 Cortez Rd. , Jefferson Township, PA 18436.
