Harvey F. Canouse, 84, of Berwick passed away Sunday July 29, 2018 at Bloomsburg Care and Rehabilitation Center. He was born March 21, 1934 in Berwick a son of the late Fred and Agnes (Rinert) Canouse. He attended Berwick High School and worked at Heinz Pet Products.

Harvey served in the Army during the Korean War. Harvey’s pride and joy was farming, he enjoyed working out in the field. Harvey is survived by his wife the former Patricia Robbins whom he married February 28, 1970 and two children; Harvey “Skip” Canouse, and Brenda L. Rupert, all of Berwick.

As well as brother David Canouse and wife Paula of Nescopeck, and two sisters; Darlas Sitler and husband Ronald, and Margaret “Peggy” McAllister, all of Shrewsbury, PA. Harvey was preceded in death by his parents as well as two brothers, Ronald and Fred Canouse, and sister Doris Baucher. Services will be Friday August 3, 2018 at 10:00 am at the James L. Hinckley Jr. Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 1024 Market St., Berwick with Pastor Mike Maleski of Living Hope Church officiating.

Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Family will receive friends Thursday August 2, 2018 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Family and friends may send online condolences to jameslhinckleyjrfuneralhome.com.
