Obituary for Hattie Lue Jones Pollard Mrs. Hattie Lue Jones Pollard, age 91, of Rome passed away Saturday December 15, 2018 in a local health care facility. Mrs. Pollard was born July 22, 1927, in Dooly County, Ga. a daughter of the late Samp Jones, and Hattie Jones.

She was member of the Church of God of Prophecy. Mrs. Pollard was homemaker, and a wonderful loving wife, mother, and grandmother, she was always a Godly Christian Woman who was a prayer warrior, she never met a stranger and had a smile on her face all the time. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Henry Pollard, Jr., son, Dan Pollard, daughters, Linda Long, Marie Lee, several brothers, and sisters.

Survivors include a daughter and son in law, Mary and Daniel McFarland, Rome; daughter in law Pat Pollard, 13 loving grandchildren, and many loving great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday December 16, 2018 at Good Shepherd Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Crawford Leonard, officiating.

Interment will follow in Rome Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. until the hour of service on Sunday at Good Shepherd Funeral Home, 2750 Shorter Ave. Rome, Ga.
