Obituary for Hazel E. Driggers Hazel Elizabeth Driggers, 86, of Cross City passed away April 16, 2018. Mrs. Driggers was born August 25, 1931 to the late Elizabeth and James Russell, Sr. in Mayo, but had lived in the Cross City area for over 60 years. She retired from the Cross City Veneer Mill and was of the Baptist Faith.

In her spare time, Mrs. Driggers enjoyed fishing. Mrs. Driggers is survived by her daughter Annie Pittman (Harold), her grandchildren Joy Harden (Matt), Lisa Bond (Donnell), and Tammy Driggers, eight great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Wilbur “Cuz” Driggers and her son Jeff Driggers.

A memorial service for Mrs. Driggers will be held 1:00 PM Friday, April 27, 2018 at the Rick Gooding Funeral Home Cross City Chapel, with Pastor Bobby Lindsey officiating.
