Obituary for Hazel Marie Fisher Hazel Marie Fisher, 88, of Cabot died Thursday, September 6, 2018. She was born at her parent’s home near Ballinger Texas on August 15, 1930. After her mother was widowed at a young age, she and her siblings returned to Cabot.

Hazel worked in a motor plant for many years going to cosmetology school part time to obtain her cosmetologist license. She began her beauty career working for Gene’s Beauty Shop later starting and managing her own shop. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, ceramics and gathering with the family.

A life well lived and much loved. Holidays will not be the same without her. She is preceded in death by her parents, her older sisters Edna Mae Wise, Willie Gertrude Burks, Fae Fisher Barham and her older brother, James Melvin Fisher.

Left to cherish her memory is her youngest sister, Mildred Lois Hardy along with numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to your local senior center or senior angel tree. In accordance with her wishes, a private family service will be held at a later date.
