Obituary for Hazel Marie Miller Hazel Marie Miller of Stratford, Oklahoma was born July 20, 1938 in Tishomingo, Oklahoma to Allen and Fannie Mae (Mitchell) Biggs. She passed away Monday October 30, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 80 years 3 months and 10 days. She grew up in the Vanoss area and graduated from Vanoss High School with the class of 1956.

She went on to earn her Bachelor’s degree from East Central University, she was a member of the Wesley Foundation. She taught school and worked as a social worker. She was a member of the Asbury Methodist Church in Ada and of the Retired Teachers association.

She married Jim Miller on Jun 13, 1967 in Kingston, Oklahoma. they made their home North east of Stratford. She loved to entertain her family, cooking, and playing the piano.

Preceded by; her parents, and an infant sister, Mildred. Survived by; her husband Jim of the home, one daughter; Marianne Wolfe of Idalou, Texas; one son Jim Miller, Stratford, Oklahoma. five sisters; Eileen Banks & husband Roy of Golden, Colorado; Martha Byrd & husband Floyd of Stratford, Oklahoma; Karen Chilcoat & husband Frank of Garland, Texas; Katherine Rowe & husband Regie and Kathleen Lamb & husband Byron all of Stratford, Oklahoma.

five grandchildren; Malessah Abernathy & husband Bryan; Kylie Levins, Carson Miller, Emma Clawson, and Zane Wolfe; two great-grandchildren Sawyer, and Josslyn, and one on the way. She was a beloved aunt of many nieces, and nephews. Visitation; Thursday evening Novemmber 1, 2018 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at DeArman/Pickard Funeral Home Stratford, Oklahoma.

Services; 2:00 PM Friday November 2, 2018 in Center Free Will Baptist Church; Officiating; Rev. Earl Hood. Burial McGee cemetery Stratford, Oklahoma.
