Helen “Cric”‘s Obituary EDICK, Helen L. “Cric” – Of Grand Blanc, age 89, died Monday, February 4, 2019. Per Helen’s wishes, she has donated her body to the Michigan State University Gift Human Anatomy Program. Private services will be held.

Donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Helen’s name at St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 Helen was born in Flint to Mr. and Mrs. William Barnum on June 25, 1929 and on June 18, 1949 she married her beloved husband, Gordon, with whom she spent seventy very wonderful, happy years. Helen graduated from Beecher High School, Class of 1947. After graduation she went to work for Buick Motor Division, retiring in 1987.

She is survived by her husband, Gordon; 2 daughters, Lisa Lynn (Mike) Murphy of Grand Blanc and Beth Ann Edick of Denver, Colorado; 3 grandchildren, Amanda (George) Kitakis, Jennifer Badour and Steven T. Bedsole; and 6 great grandchildren. Special thank you to Heartland Hospice and Victoria’s House staff in Flint for their wonderful care and kindness.
