Guthrie, 69, of Port Orchard, Washington passed away peacefully on January 13th 2019, in her Assisted Family home in Tacoma, WA. Helen was born in St Louis, Missouri on April 18th. Helen was married to William (Bill) Guthrie; they were married 32 years.

Helen was a homemaker. She enjoyed going on trips/rides in the car, going to lunch, looking around the thrift stores, puzzles, embroidery, and visiting with family. Helen is survived by five children, including sisters and brothers and other family and friends.

The funeral service will be held on February 1st at 1:15 at Tahoma National Cemetery: Address: 18600 SE 240th St, Kent, WA 98042. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Tuell-McKee Funeral Home. 253-272-1414.

In lieu memorial donations, flowers may be given or sent to Tuell-Mckee Funeral Home prior to the service. The family of Margaret Gilbride (Guthrie) wishes to thank Nancy Adams, sister, and caregiver, and Brookhouse Adult Family Home in Tacoma, WA for outstanding care the last eight months of Helen’s life.
