Helen Lavonia Fisher Lancaster, 89, widow of Dupre Lancaster, passed away January 29, 2019. A native of Spartanburg County, daughter of the late Walker and Lillian Henson Fisher, she was a homemaker and a member of Mount Lebanon Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter, Jean Rose (Harry) of Greer; a son, Keith Lancaster (Mollie) of Lexington; two brothers, Johnny Fisher and George Fisher both of Lyman; a sister, Priscilla Dempsey of Lyman; three grandchildren, Laura Hicks, David Rose and Abby Lancaster; and three great-grandchildren, Talon Hicks, Tyson Hicks and Samirah Rose.

Mrs. Lancaster was predeceased by one daughter, Kathy Lancaster. Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 1, 2019 at Mount Lebanon Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Mark Smith, Rev.

Maurice Henson and Rev. Scott McAlister. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be held 2:00-3:15 p.m. Friday at the church. The family is at the home. Memorials may be made to Mount Lebanon Baptist Church Building Fund, 572 Mount Lebanon Church Road, Greer, South Carolina 29651.
