Helen George, 73 of Bardstown, died Wednesday, July 4, 2018 at her residence. She was born February 19, 1945 in Baird, Texas. She was President of the American Legion Post 121 Ladies Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmie George of Bardstown; four children, Helen Martin and Barbara (Ted) McMillan both of Bardstown, Jimmie George Jr. of Orange Beach, Alabama, and Connie (Tony) Middleton of Bardstown; eleven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and brother, Ralph Lee Horton of Clyde, Texas. Visitation will be 10:00 am till 11:30 am Friday, July 6, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home with cremation to follow.
