Tony Johnson, 69, of New Haven, passed away Monday September 10, 2018 at his residence. He was born November 4, 1948 in Nelson County, worked construction for Hamilton Construction, a member of Abbey of Gethsemani, and the 700 Club. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Johnson; parents, Earl and Marjorie Johnson; grandson, Andrew Wayne Johnson; and nephew, Ricky Martin.

He is survived by eight children, Leslie Chapman, RonnyJohnson, Toni Johnson, Anthony Johnson Jr., Scotty Johnson, Janet Johnson, Donna Johnson, Dana Johnson; twenty-nine grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jesse Johnson, Randall Johnson, Bobby Johnson, Sammy Johnson; and five sisters, Ceil Bryan, Mary Nalley, Theresa Donahue, Maggie Jackson, Annette Price. His funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday, September 14, 2018 at Barlow Funeral Home, with burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Brother Sammy Johnson will officiate.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 pm Thursday, September 13 and 9 to 11 am Friday September 14 at Barlow Funeral Home. Barlow Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
