Mary Frances Phillips, 70, of Bardstown, passed away Wednesday October 3, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital after a long illness. She was born March 7, 1948 in Nelson County and a member of St. Monica Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Susie and William Phillips; grandson, Ian Rogers; two brothers, James Phillips, and William “Billy” Phillips; and two sisters, Beatrice Greene, and Mary “Tita” Phillips.

Those she has left to mourn for her are, son, Darius (Michelle) Phillips of Cincinnati; daughter, Sherri (Wayne) Rogers of Bardstown; two brothers, Robert “Bobby” Phillips, and William “Bo Bo” Phillips; two sisters, Nannie Thompson, and Martha Phillips all of Bardstown; five grandchildren, Shanice Rogers, Julian Rogers, and Amanda O’Daniel all of Bardstown, Alexis Mashek of Des Moines, Iowa, and Shontae Bridgewaters of Columbia, Ky. ; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Her Funeral Mass will be 11:00 am Monday October 8, 2018 at St. Monica Catholic Church, with burial in Bardstown Cemetery.

Rev. Jason Harris will officiate. Visitation will be 3 – 8 pm Sunday October 7 and 9 – 10:15 am Monday October 8 at Barlow Funeral Home.

A prayer service will be 7 pm Sunday.
