A memorial service will be held Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hankinson, ND with Rev. Sean Daenzer officiating.

Inurnment will be in the spring at St. John’s Belford Cemetery, rural Hankinson, ND. Helen Marie Radke was born July 20, 1924 in Rochester, MN the daughter of Julius & Cora (Teske) Radke. She graduated from Rochester Senior High School and married Roy Buske.

In 1950 Roy passed away and she moved to Inver Grove Heights, MN. She retired from Dayton’s, St. Paul, MN. In 1980 she was united in marriage to Donald Bellin & lived in Inver Grove Heights until 2005 when they moved to Hankinson, ND.

Donald & Helen wintered in Mesa, AZ. She enjoyed bowling, golf & playing cards with her family. She also did volunteer work at the Lutheran Thrift Shop when in Arizona.

She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, Hankinson, a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary, Mantador & Wahpeton, ND. Helen is survived by 2 nephews: David (Betty) Prigge, Byron, MN and Allen (Linda) Butterfass, South Carolina and many extended family, nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and great – great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents: Julius & Cora; husbands: Roy Buske & Donald Bellin; sisters: Nina Prigge, Lilian Liebe & Evelyn Butterfass; nephews: Dan Butterfass & Richard Prigge.
