Helen V. Nash, Saginaw, Michigan. “Our mom had a fierce faith and extraordinary love for her family. We witnessed a radiant glimpse of His Majesty through the way she lived her life and how she treated others.

She fought with such courage, determination and selflessness. Through HER example, we have learned to count your blessings and to be grateful every single day”. Loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Thursday, May 2, 2019 at HealthSource Saginaw with her family at her side.

Age 79 years. Daughter of the late John and Mary (Ardelean) Stanley, Helen was born July 23, 1939 in Chicago, Illinois. She was married to Gene Boettcher on February 15, 1958.

He predeceased her January 10, 1988. She then was married to Dennis Nash on July 9, 1994. He predeceased her October 22, 2009.

Helen was employed at Means Stamping until her retirement. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. Helen enjoyed reading, gardening and especially taking care of her family.

Surviving to cherish her memory are two daughters, Kimberly and Mike Stelter, Saginaw; Dawn and John Musser, Mt. Pleasant; her extended family, Phil and Bobbie Nash, Davison; Karen and Craig Sperry, Beaverton; Diane and Jerry Hribek, Davison; five grandchildren, Lindsay, Ron (Kelli), Ashley (Jayme), Marcus and Alli and her extended grandchildren and great-grandchildren; three sisters, Dorothy (Stan) Kania, Lennon; Sophie Stanley, Saginaw; Rosemary (Jerry) Heinrich, AuGres; her sister at heart, Tootie Schafer, Saginaw; many nieces, nephews, cousins from AuGres and Chicago; and many loving and faith filled friends, especially Robert Hartman. Helen was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth Stanley and her special aunts and uncles, Mary Malec, George Stanley, Pete and Ruth Stanley.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Ernie Balcueva, LeeAnn and Jody for their tender loving compassion and support for our mom, and for the staff at Health Source that provided wonderful care. Funeral Liturgy will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 5376 State St., Saginaw. Rev.

Fr. Richard Bokinskie will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd.

, (between Shattuck and McCarty), where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday at the church from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. A Vigil Service will take place 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
