Rebar, 88, of Pottstown, formerly of Houtzdale, passed away Thursday, August 16, 2018 at Saratoga Center, Pottstown, PA. Born on August 25, 1929 in Osceola Mills, she was the daughter of the late Wassel and Helen (Cherney) Supko.

On June 12, 1948, she married Vincent Rebar in St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church. He preceded her in death in 2013. She was a member of Christ the King Parish, and had worked at Philipsburg Hospital for 30 years in the dietary department.

She is survived by two children, John Rebar of Douglassville, PA, and Kathy J. Rebar of Schwenksville; one granddaughter, Meredith Williams; one sister, Barbara Fetcenko; four brothers, Joseph, Matthew, Robert, and Paul Supko, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Dolores Rebar, and an infant sister. Friends will be received 6-8 PM Wednesday and 9:30;-10:30 Thursday at Kruise-Spewock Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Ramey.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 AM Thursday in Christ the King Parish, Houtzdale, with Rev Marc J. Solomon as celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Lawrence Cemetery. Condolences may be made at www.
