Henry B. Gregersen, age 85, of Neenah, died on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at The Bridges of Appleton from complications of dementia. He was born on April 24, 1933, son of the late Henry and Mildred (Nelson) Gregersen. Henry was a graduate of Deer River High School.

He served four years with the U.S. Air Force and was a veteran of the Korean War. Henry married Karen Johnson on September 3, 1966 at Mizpah Congregational Church, Minneapolis. He was a Mechanical Engineer and worked for Holden Business Forms in Minneapolis, Neenah Printing, Menasha Corporation and retired from Bemis Corporation.

Henry was a member of the NRA, EAA, North American Hunting Club and Twin City Rod and Gun Club. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 33 of Neenah. Henry is survived by his wife Karen, of 52 years, his two nieces, Rita Damon, and Cindy Matthews; a brother-in-law, Jim Seaman and a special God Child, Shari McKinnon Welmetz.

He is also survived by his wife’s family, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tom and Lolita McKinnon, and Doug and Linda Johnson, Sheila Johnson, numerous nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his faithful companions, Toby and Rudy. Henry was preceded in death by his parents, mother and father-in-law, Lawrence and Lola Johnson, his two sisters, Joanne Matson and Pearl Seaman and two brothers-in-law, Dennis and Lawrence Johnson.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October, 19, 2018 at Immanuel United Church of Christ, 118 Oak St., Neenah with Rev. Jen Czarnota officiating. Visitation will be at the church from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services.

Military honors will be performed following the service by the Neenah-Menasha Funeral Honors Team. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the EAA or Neenah Animal Shelter. The family would like to thank the staff at The Bridges of Appleton for the special care they extended to Henry.
