Herbert Diama December 26, 1927 – February 20, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Send Sympathy Card Herbert Diama, 91, of Hilo died Feb. 20 at the Hilo Medical Center. Born in Papaikou, he was a retired meteorologist with the U.S. Weather Bureau, employed at the Veterans Administration and a veteran of the U.S. Air Force during World War II.

Private services held. Survived by, brother, Benjamin Diama of Hilo; sisters, Catherine Campainha of Hilo, Carol Brown of Hilo; numerous nieces & nephews.
