Hilary’s Obituary Hilary A. Noel, Jr., 71, formerly of Latrobe, died Sunday, January 20, 2019 at the H.J. Heinz Campus of the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System in Aspinwall. He was born September 21, 1947 in Latrobe, a son of the late Hilary and Florence (Ziegenfus) Noel. Hilary is a Vietnam War veteran and served with the United States Marine Corps, 1st Marine Division as a Field Radio Operator in the Danang and Hue Area Republic of Vietnam where he received the Purple Heart.

He worked at the Latrobe Die Casting Co He loved to build and toy with electronic devices as his hobby. Hilary was a good friend who was always willing to go out of way to lean a helping hand to those in need of assistance.

He is survived by his brother William Noel, and his wife Mary, of Virginia. There will be no public visitations. Family and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass at 10 AM Thursday at St Bartholomew Church, Crabtree, with the Rev.

Justin Matro, O.S.B., as celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Hill Cemetery with military honors accorded by the VFW Post No. 33, Greensburg.
