Kathryn’s Obituary Kathryn (Sliz) Altman, 100, of Greensburg, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Redstone Highlands, Greensburg. Born May 29, 1918 in Lycippus, she was a daughter of the late John Sliz and Anna (Hricik) Sliz. Kathryn was a member of the Laurel Highlands Presbyterian Church, Bovard and a former member of Calvary Presbyterian Church, Willow Grove, PA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Altman; one sister, Rose Marie Flickinger; and two brothers, Michael and George Sliz. Kathryn is survived by one brother, Joseph Sliz of Baggaley; six sisters, Susan Dusecina of Latrobe, Helen Mickinac of Latrobe, Veronica Franks, and her husband Andrew, of Harleysville, PA, Patricia Sliz of Latrobe, Virginia Puskar of Trauger and Carole Wigfield of Ligonier; she is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 6 PM Monday at the John J. Lopatich Funeral Home, Inc., 601 Weldon Street, Latrobe.

A funeral service will be held at 4 PM Monday in the funeral home with her Pastor, Rev. Adrian Armel, officiating. Interment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park, Bensalem, PA.
